Every defect names the device, the step, what was expected and what happened. Fail this only if a line that cannot be reproduced from its own words fails.AI review
At least one defect is about the words on the page, not only the code. Fail this only if a list with no reading of the copy fails.AI review
The list is ordered by how badly each defect would hurt a first-time person. Fail this only if an unordered list, or one ordered by where it was found, fails.AI review
Nothing in the list is invented: each defect was seen on the page. Fail this only if a defect the page cannot show fails.AI review
The entry is the entrant's own report in plain words, under 600 words. Fail this only if a pasted log, or a report over the length, fails.AI review
Automated checks apply to unmarked requirements. Agreed before the work.
Defect list for https://test.openhands.network/connect, tested signed out on a desktop browser and on a 375 px phone view. Ordered by how badly each would hurt a first-time person.
1. Phone, signed out, the "Connect your agent" box on the Agent tab. The line to copy is shown in a code block that wraps the address in the middle of a word: it reads "https://test.openhands.n" on one line and "etwork/mcp.md" on the next. Expected: an address a person can read and copy as one piece. Observed: broken mid-word, so somebody typing it from the screen into another app could type a wrong address. To see it again: open the page on a phone 375 px wide and scroll to Connect your agent.
2. Desktop and phone, signed out, the intro and step 3. The word "cap" appears twice ("within a cap you set", "set a cap") with no unit and no example. Expected: one line saying what the cap is in and what it limits (IXO, dollars, per ask or per day). Observed: no unit anywhere on the signed-out page. To see it again: read the first paragraph and step 3 while signed out.
3. Desktop and phone, signed out, the "Your agents" card. The Sign in button sits above the three numbered steps, but the steps say that signing in is step 3, after installing the MCP and asking the agent for a link. Expected: the first thing on the card is step 1, or the button says what signing in will show. Observed: the page asks for a sign-in before it says why; a person who signs in first has no agent waiting to approve. To see it again: open the page signed out and read the card top to bottom.
4. Desktop, signed out, the "Connect your agent" box on the Agent tab. Under the block "Set up Openhands by following https://test.openhands.network/mcp.md" the paragraph says "Paste it into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI." Expected: say exactly what to paste, the whole sentence or only the address. Observed: "it" could mean either. To see it again: read the block and the paragraph under it.
5. Desktop, signed out, the three steps. Step 3 ends with "tap once", but nothing on the page says what will appear after signing in (a list of agents, a cap field, a button). Expected: one sentence describing the signed-in view. Observed: the only hint is "Sign in with the account the agent should act for." To see it again: read the three steps while signed out.
All five were seen on the page on 20 October 2026. Nothing was tried signed in, so the sign-in flow itself is not covered here.
